Every weekend between October 4th and 19th, the Pavilion Mall fountain area in Kuala Lumpur became a vibrant stage. GIISKL students performed lively traditional dances and music as part of the Grand Trunk Road Food Festival hosted by Barbeque Nation.

Adorned in dazzling, colourful attire, the talented performers showcased the diverse beauty of Indian culture. Their movements and rhythmic beats captured the essence of the Grand Trunk Road; a celebration where tradition and happiness united hearts. The event was a spectacular blend of dance, music, and the festive spirit of Diwali.

This cultural showcase was seamlessly aligned with the school's commitment to holistic development, specifically through its 9GEMs framework. The event directly championed Gem 7: Universal Values and Ethics by embracing the spirit of unity and celebrating diverse cultural heritage.

Furthermore, the collective joy and harmony fostered during the performances correlated directly with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
